Has modern food lost its God-given goodness? Find out how processed diets distort truth and why returning to biblical foods can change your health.

How To Find Truth In Confusion?
There are many different beliefs in the world today, but there is only one real truth. No matter what people may make up or choose to believe, the truth remains the same. How can we find it? What is the criteria? Among all the opinions, there is one source that is unquestionable: the Word of God—yes, the Bible!
People can choose to believe it or not, but that does not affect the truth; it only affects the people themselves.
We can compare this to driving rules. If someone refuses to believe in them or follow them—if they constantly question and break the rules—they will face the consequences. But if they follow the rules, those rules will keep them safe.
Can We Apply Biblical Principles In Our Diet?
The truth I want to talk about today is the truth about the right diet and eating habits. How can we know what is truly good for us? There are so many different diets and so many approaches to “healthy eating.” Which one is best? Which should we choose? There are vegan diets, vegetarian diets, gluten-free diets, keto diets, Mediterranean diets, and more. Each one has its own pros and cons. With so many options, it’s natural to wonder: What should I do? How can I know what is good for me?
I have applied biblical principles in my spiritual life, my emotional life, and in my relationships with other people. But I had never tried to apply them to my eating habits or to the diet I choose. In fact, biblical principles often seem to contradict many modern dietary recommendations that have become popular today—like low-fat diets, the avoidance of salt, or gluten-free diets (which seem to ignore Jesus’ own words calling Himself “the Bread of Life”). People have sustained themselves—and even thrived—on bread alone for centuries. Has the Bible changed? Has the truth changed? Why is it that something called good and life-giving in Scripture seems harmful to people now?
What Have Changed In The Modern Food?
The truth hasn’t changed.
We have changed the foods so much that they have become harmful.
Take bread, for example. People have interfered with the process of making bread to the point that very little good remains in it. The flour is sifted to remove the bran and germ, stripping away vitamins, minerals, and fiber. This alone upsets the natural balance and makes the bread harder to digest. Then the flour is bleached with chlorine dioxide, which has been linked to negative health effects. Synthetic vitamins and minerals are added back in. Extra gluten is added to make the bread fluffier but much harder to digest. Preservatives are added to extend shelf life. Poor-quality oils and sugar are mixed in as well. As you can see, there is nothing left in much of modern bread that can give life; instead, it becomes harmful to the body. No wonder something that was considered a superfood throughout history has now become difficult for many people to tolerate.
We Can Return To Our Roots
The enemy tries to undermine the Word of God by twisting the foods of our modern world into something that harms us. In doing so, he wants us to doubt that we can trust God’s Word regarding our food—and eventually, to question whether we can trust God in anything at all. We begin to undermine everything, and doubt replaces faith.
We need to understand what foods the Bible calls good and healing, and begin eating in a more biblical way. We must stop consuming processed foods filled with poor-quality ingredients and lacking real nourishment. We need to return to the roots—to a biblical diet. It has the power to heal and sustain us, just as it did for thousands of years before us.
