Activities That Take Lifetime To Master

There are some skills and activities that we can learn to do. We can make them as simple as possible, or we can spend a lifetime mastering them—there is always more to learn in these areas.

Things like improving our health, decluttering, cooking, doing crafts, gardening, and so on have no final destination. You can keep doing them, and every time you practice, you discover something new and exciting. It is like a lifelong journey where you continuously find new ways of doing things.

Health Improvement Journey

Take your health, for example. There is so much you can do to improve it. There is always something you can work on—exercise, diet, and healthy habits. You can decide whether you want to exercise in a gym or set up a routine at home, go for walks, or join a team to play sports. There are so many different activities that can work for you in different seasons of your life.

Exercise

I prefer to spend time outside, and I have made it a priority during my lunch break. I go for a short walk every day, in almost any weather. Only if there is heavy rain do I skip a day, but that doesn’t happen very often.

Home Remedies

I also like to learn about home remedies that I can use for myself and my family when we are sick. I don’t like to rely on medication. I have learned how to make tinctures, teas, and dried herbs that I gather locally in the wild. I always check which home remedies can help with my health issues, and there is almost always something that works. Nowadays, it is very easy to find the information you need—it just takes being intentional and educating yourself in that area.

Bread With Freshly Milled Flour

Another important step in improving health is diet. Last year, I made a couple of decisions that changed a few things for us. I started baking my own bread with freshly milled flour, and it has had an incredible impact on our health. My husband and I have not been sick with the flu or a cold for the entire year.

To be honest, no matter how hard I tried before—using home remedies, eliminating most medications (painkillers, flu medicine, cough syrups, etc.), switching to a vegan diet, and exercising—none of that affected my health as much as switching to homemade bread. I learned that freshly milled wheat contains 40 out of 44 minerals and vitamins essential to humans. We started eating it, and it worked better than any medicine. We stopped getting sick.

Fasting

The last thing I would like to mention that has had a significant impact on our health is fasting. We fast regularly once a week for 24 hours, and I have also practiced a few 7-day fasts.

Health can be improved in so many ways, and it is up to us to find the approaches that work best and align with our current needs and goals.
